• Extension:  For completion of approved projects.  The federal and provincial governments have recently signed an amendment to the MRIF Agreement, which will extend the timeline for applicants to complete their approved projects to March 31, 2010.  Applicants are requested to submit a written request to the MRIF Management Committee should an extension be required.

APPLICATIONS ARE NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED UNDER THE MRIF PROGRAM

The full program allocation of $90.9 million of combined federal and provincial funding available under this program has been allocated. Applications are therefore no longer being accepted and/or considered for funding.

All projects approved under the MRIF program must be completed by March 31, 2010 . Claims/Requests for Payment from applicants with approved projects will continue to be processed until March 31, 2011 at which time the program expires.
