Status and Boundary Changes of Saskatchewan Municipalities

Municipalities from time to time determine that it is in their best interests to restructure, such as a boundary alteration, or to have their territory included under the governance of an adjacent municipality. A merger could result in the disorganization of one municipality in order to include its territory into another municipality, or the creation of a new municipality from one or more former municipalities.
