The Ministry secured renewal of the Northern Capital Grants Program for $7.2 million until March 31, 2013; a vital part of the developing Northern Infrastructure Strategy.

Funding programs available to your community, including SIGI, MRIF, MEEP or information on the Federal Gas Tax program.

Includes program information and request for payment form. 

Provides long-term funding for the construction, renewal, expansion, and upgrade or material enhancement of local infrastructure that is for public use or benefit. 

Intended for projects with national and regional strategic importance. 

To provide funding assistance in those Rural Municipalities that assume financial liabilities related to environmental-based physical infrastructure when a village dissolves into an R.M. 

Provides approximately $147.7 million to Saskatchewan municipalities to help build communities.

Combined federal and provincial funding towards water, wastewater and local roadway projects in Saskatchewan's municipalities.

Provides per-capita funding to municipalities to strengthen the provincial economy.  Checkout this page for more information and details.

Combined federal and provincial funding towards water, wastewater, solid waste, local roadway, sport, cultural and green energy projects in Saskatchewan's municipalities.

The RInC program was announced as a national program for community recreational facilities.  The Ministry of Municipal Affairs will provide matching provincial funding for approved projects.

Five-year agreements to cooperate and collaborate on areas of shared interest and priority between the governments of Canada and Saskatchewan, and the cities of Regina and Saskatoon.
